Combined Properties, Incorporated is a full-service developer, owner and operator of retail shopping centers and urban mixed-use projects. Combined's current portfolio is comprised of over 40 institutional-grade grocery and drug-anchored neighborhood shopping centers, totaling over five million square feet and approximately $1 billion in value. The portfolio is split roughly 2/3 in the greater Washington DC area, and 1/3 in the greater Los Angeles area. We are currently seeking a Property Manager to work in our Washington, DC office. This position will be responsible for the following:
•managing, directing and monitoring the day-to-day activities of a portfolio of retail shopping centers; •completing tenant work orders, rent collections and invoice approvals; •producing budgets, financial reporting, re-forecasts and variances; •ensuring acceptable store presentation, property presentation and tenant/community relations; •coordinating move-ins, move-outs, and tenant openings; •performing CAM and real estate tax recoveries.
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
•3 – 5 years of experience in retail or commercial property management; •understanding of accounts receivable, budgeting and accounting, property operations, maintenance contract negotiations and tenant relations; •strong verbal and written communication skills; •ability to handle emergencies calmly; •computer proficiency to include a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office; specifically a strong working knowledge of Excel; •knowledge of MRI or similar property management software; •ability to multi-task, remain highly organized and thrive in a deadline-driven environment; •valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
