The Marketing and Publications Specialist will manage the print and digital marketing efforts for exhibitions and programs related to the museum. The Specialist manages the creation of the museum's publications and marketing materials including catalogs, brochures, postcards, seasonal program mailers, and invitations. The Specialist works closely with editors, designers, curators, artists, and museum and University staff to produce a wide range of exhibition print materials and ensure their timely production. The Specialist compiles content and designs approximately 50 e-blasts per year for museum events, membership news, and additional updates. It is important that the incumbent be able to develop and implement a cohesive approach to the materials and communications including social medial and eblasts.
Additionally, the Specialist provides support to the museum in the execution of events including information gathering, administering space requests to the Katzen Facilities Manager, A/V requests, and required paperwork for special events.
The incumbent supervises several part-time employees who assist with graphic design, social media, and event management. The incumbent will also assist in the hiring and supervising of other part-time office staff as needed. The Specialist provides operational support to the museum as a whole under the general supervision of the Associate Director.

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Three years office experience
