The Manager of Integrated Marketing & Communications (IMC) Operations will report to the Vice President of Integrated Marketing & Communications and will work in collaboration with the IMC team and other key university departments to help prioritize, schedule and ensure timely and accurate implementation of all department projects. The manager will be a member of the senior team to be well-informed about new and ongoing initiatives, determine prioritization level and work with appropriate team members to track and measure key performance indicators. The successful candidate must be comfortable interacting with peers and superiors on project management and able to command their respect. The Manager will also maintain and manage the IMC department budget, including processing all department invoices and related financial administrative tasks. The successful candidate must be committed to fostering a culturally diverse atmosphere for faculty, staff, and students.
This position will also be the primary coordinator of marketing assets created in partnership with online programs.
Work with the Marketing and PR Manager and Associate Directors to ensure efficiency, accuracy and on-time delivery of work.
Monitor all project basecamps to ensure the integration of various projects
Serve as the project coordinator and liaison with School of Adult and Online Education.
Track, measure and analyze success of IMC deliverables.
Manage digital assets and paper archives and files for the IMC department.
Process invoices and track IMC budget.
Attend meetings in place of the Vice President, as appropriate, to represent the IMC department.
Two to three years professional experience managing marketing or communications projects.
Must be highly organized and possess strong writing and interpersonal communication skills.
Must be confident in making independent decisions about day-to-day work based on strategic goals based on directions established by the Vice President
Strong aptitude for technology required. Proficient in Windows applications, file management, Microsoft Word and Excel and the ability to quickly learn new technological platforms essential.
Familiarity with graphic design and project management skills preferred.
Outgoing, friendly and relatable.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Experience managing a department budget and handling payables preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or Business preferred.
