We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional Marketing and Communication Specialist on contract for three days a week (21 hours) to help us in our overall marketing efforts. You will be an integral part of the development and execution of the marketing plans for one of our book product lines.
The Marketing and Communication Specialist should be a competent professional able to grasp the legal market place behavior trends and generate creative ideas. You should also be well-versed in specialized marketing concepts, principles and tactics.
The goal is to deliver effective marketing programs that will enable us to meet our sales goals and help our reputation and growth.
Develop strategy, plan and execute marketing tactics to support one of our book product lines.
Work with outside editorial team on book development.
Work with book publishing board on marketing ideas and implementation.
Write press release for new books and other special news events for publishing, Coordinate with media relations department.
Develop content marketing strategy for social media.
Plan, coordinate and execute outside marketing tactics, including:
Outside mail lists
Outside email lists
Travel when necessary for meetings and/or onsite book sales.
Proven experience as marketing specialist or similar role.
Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods.
Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools
Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.).
