Responsible for planning and leading strategic initiatives on behalf of the SVP, to include long-term budget planning and forecasting activities, strategic planning, marketing technology and analytics oversight. Coordinates activities and operations on behalf of the SVP of Communications and Marketing using a high degree of independent judgement and with significant autonomy. Leads and supports organizational change efforts designed to support a high performance work culture by aligning culture, talent, processes and information systems through strategic planning, organizational effectiveness, and work process improvement in Communications and Marketing. Plays a significant role in building and managing data modeling, dashboard metrics creation and data-driven insight gathering. Uses analysis to help drive business recommendations and ensure progress against overarching and Divisional strategic plan. Serves as a critical advisor to the SVP/CCO and fills in as acting CCO as needed. Helps coordinate regular leadership and team meetings to align MarComm team around shared goals and operational plans. Serves as a liaison on behalf of the SVP with academic and administration leadership throughout the institution. Reviews and analyzes operational and financial information to support executive-level decision making, conducts in-depth examinations to identify service and process improvement opportunities and solicits input from relevant stakeholders. Collaborates with and builds consensus among key constituents throughout the university and externally on behalf of the SVP, and provides strategic counsel to the SVP and the members of the Communications and Marketing leadership team. Plays Executive Leadership role on special projects as assigned.
