Description The Office of Communications and Marketing has overall responsibility for marketing and brand management, public relations and editorial services producing various print and web publications and communications for the university. The office optimizes the coordination of strategies and programs for these areas. The Marketing and Branding group reports up to the VP of Communications and Marketing and produces a wide range of print and digital marketing – from event invitations to integrated marketing campaigns – serving university clients and advancement priorities. The group oversees the university's visual identity; manages the university's main web, email and social channels; and directs online marketing and lead-generation campaigns to build awareness of and enrollment in online, on-site and blended traditional and non-traditional education programs. The team also partners with Tufts Technology Services (TTS) to provide content strategy and management; and Drupal web design, development and hosting services to university clients. Manages online marketing campaigns employing a range of techniques across multiple digital channels (pay-per-click ad networks, search engines, social media, etc.) for a variety of revenue generating ventures, including building awareness of and growing enrollment in the university's online, on-site and blended traditional and non-traditional education programs.

Qualifications Basic Requirements: B.A./B.S. in marketing, marketing communications, or related field. 5-7 years' experience in online marketing, managing budgets and achieving revenue targets. Proficiency with direct response principles and practices, including marketing automation techniques. Mastery of major social platforms to reach specific audience segments. Hands-on experience managing online lead generation and conversion programs. Fluency with Google Analytics and similar tools. Ability to translate analytics and metrics into actionable insights. Experience working in Drupal and WordPress CMS and bulk email tools. Ability to manage multiple projects with speed and accuracy in a deadline-driven environment. Strong written and verbal communications skills. Experience managing clients relationships and third-party vendors. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a professional environment. Higher education experience a plus, but not required. Online marketing agency experience a plus, but not required. Special Work Schedule Requirements: Travel to professional conferences; evening/weekend work for extraordinary projects/deadlines (e.g., crisis communications, athletics championships, etc).
