The Project Manager, Marketing and Communications specializes in planning, managing and executing projects related to marketing campaigns. The position directs the creation of print and digital marketing/advertising content at all stages of development. This includes helping to define project scope, scheduling, providing direction to creative staff and ensuring on-time delivery to clients. Additionally, this position manages a wide range of collateral, including flyers, posters, brochures, press releases, direct mail, web pages, web banners, email blasts, videos and sales presentations.
The Project Manager, Marketing and Communications ensures collateral meets marketing best practices and department quality standards and uses project management software to track projects and generate reports. This position supervises the work of one or more Social Media Specialists, Graphic Designers, and Interns. A high degree of autonomy is required for this role in order to build relationships that promote and facilitate internal and external marketing initiatives.
REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field and two years of experience as a communications specialist, creative project manager or equivalent position in a marketing environment.
Combination of education and experience may be considered.
Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning, scheduling and reporting; Proven track record of highly effective verbal and written communication; Ability to manage multiple projects in a friendly, fast-paced environment.
Standard office equipment, personal computer (PC).
Experience with MAC.
