MANAGER, EMAIL MARKETING , edX , to lead the strategy and execution of email and customer marketing initiatives. Will craft multi-channel customer campaigns and drive customer engagement via email marketing, successfully drive marketing programs from concept to deployment, and lead ongoing optimization efforts through a customer-centric lens to increase customer lifetime value. Responsibilities include leading email marketing campaign development and optimization; crafting moment-specific campaigns, ensuring the optimal message gets to each customer at the right time in order to drive relevancy and overall program success; synthesizing current and upcoming content schedule into a marketing and merchandising calendar; establishing email targeting strategies based on customer segmentation; developing the creative/storytelling approach for all new emails including copywriting; managing an email marketing associate; and leading the testing strategy for all emails and measuring and reporting on the results.
REQUIRED : six years' experience in digital, e-commerce CRM marketing, including at least four as an email channel owner; deep experience with customer event-driven, personalized campaigns (transactional and/or behavior-triggers); solid understanding of core ecommerce and CRM KPI metrics; strong working knowledge of HTML and CSS; comfort working with product and engineering teams to drive forward projects; excellent copywriting skills; strong analytics experience, including day-to-day use of Google Analytics and systems like Tableau; strong campaign, project management, and problem solving skills; ability to present to executives; flexibility and ability to think outside-the-box to deliver new and innovative campaigns; ability to change on-demand and innovate rapidly; and a strong bias for action and making data-driven decisions.
