The Marketing & Communications Manager provides direct support to the College of Business and Technology, as well as the college’s departments. The manager will serve as a regular contact for administrative and academic departments to guide and support marketing related to the college and university branding and messaging. The manager will help conceptualize, manage and develop print, electronic, photographic, social media and video communications consistent with overall marketing and communications strategy. The manager also assists in developing and seeking out new opportunities to market the college, as well as identifying strategic business and community partnerships to enhance the college’s brand.
Manages and monitors social media calendar and postings and coordinates responses as needed. Assists in developing strategy and implementing college and departmental marketing and advertising campaigns.
Helps conceptualize, manage and develop print, electronic, social media, photographic and video communications that are consistent with overall college and university marketing strategy and identity standards.
Contributes marketing and communications support to the overall strategic plan of the college and its general operations including but not limited to marketing campaigns, special events, and routine marketing/communications. Serves as a liaison with University Relations on branding compliance for given projects as required.
Assists in coordinating marketing projects, serving as a liaison between marketing and clients.
Conducts market research and data analysis.
Manages marketing and communications budget.
Manages and coordinates activities related to an office, department or function in an effective, efficient and professional manner. Participates in meetings, discussions, projects and workshops as may pertain to the administration of the services being provided by the respective area. Competently and professionally complete the duties and responsibilities assigned.
Responsible for developing and reviewing all college communications internally and externally; including but not limited to newlsetters, announcements, press releases, as well as other communications and media.
