We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Marketing Manager, Integrated Marcomms.
This role is part of the Global Marketing function which is focused on supporting the strategic and revenue growth priorities of two Global Businesses: Commercial Banking and Global Banking and Markets.
This role is responsible for leading the development and execution of customer-focused marketing campaigns to support the objectives and ambitions of the Global Marketing strategy and plan, in turn driving CMB and GBM revenue targets.
The incumbent will focus on understanding present and future customer needs and the identification, development and execution of marketing strategies, campaigns and activities that support and strengthen the HSBC brand, support the drive for revenue and increase customer value and satisfaction in order to meet agreed targets and objectives at both a global and market level.
Planning and executing integrated campaigns in support of key Global and Regional marketing projects
Close working and joint planning with External Affairs and Employee Comms
Close working with global, regional and local teams to gain input into marketing briefs, to leverage best practice and support local activation
Managing relationships and optimisation of creative and media agencies
Measuring campaign outcomes and drive an effectiveness culture
The job holder is required to collaborate effectively with Retail Banking Wealth Management and Private Bank marketing campaign teams as appropriate and share best practice
Review and monitor the effectiveness of campaign activity to meet Global and Regional brand and marketing objectives.
Proactively manage marketing budget for areas of responsibility to derive value against plan through the appropriate use of target setting and ongoing
Definition, development and deliver marketing communications propositions that respond to customer needs, deliver standout, differentiation and competitive advantage in the marketplace with relative stakeholders in line with business needs
Degree level qualification in marketing or business studies preferred.
Broad marketing experience within a Financial Service based institution.
Range of marketing planning and operational experience, with demonstrable success in developing and executing marketing plans and high profile integrated campaigns.
Experience and evidence of working within teams over multiple sites.
Commitment to putting the customer at the heart of all development activities, with a proven understanding of customer insights and their role in ideas and campaign development.
Proven track record in operating with and influencing leadership teams.
Proven track record in self-motivation, drive and delivering success.
Strong understanding of communication developments and emerging consumer, business decision maker and industry trends.
A passion as well as a good understanding of technology developments and emerging consumer and industry trends and how they drive digital strategy.
Proven ability to work on multi-function projects demonstrating excellent relationship building skills.
Proven ability to be a self-starter with energy and drive in a challenging and dynamic environment.
Ability to think innovatively, shaping and communicating new concepts.
