Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Minimum of five years in non-profit or higher education fundraising with specific experience in direct mail, telemarketing, and/or digital marketing/fundraising. Knowledge of professional fundraising principles, concepts, and techniques. Leadership experience (direct reports, volunteers, etc.), proven capability of working with data analytics and the ability to present analyses and information, speak about its interpretation, and make recommendations. Well-developed organizational and leadership skills and the ability to meet multiple deadlines. Demonstrated ability to devise and implement effective strategies to achieve measurable results. Proven experience using a complex centralized data base to meet goals
Candidates must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university. Minimum of seven years in non-profit or higher education fundraising with specific experience in planning and executing successful fundraising multi-channel campaigns. Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and an ability to engage and work with diverse groups of people in an open and respectful way. Demonstrated technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with day of giving and/or crowdfunding campaigns. Knowledge of trends in student giving and philanthropy education. Experience with Blackbaud and Reeher platforms. Ability to project manage and balance multiple tasks and respond calmly under pressure. Team player with the ability to work independently. Willingness to travel and work evenings and weekends as necessary.
