PIAG is seeking a forward-thinking, self-motivated, superstar to serve as the director of marketing and engagement. This position comes with high expectations, but it also provides the right individual with flexibility, creativity, and a positive atmosphere to perform the job. The director will strategically lead the marketing, membership, and engagement efforts of the association with the potential of supervising additional employees and/or outsourced functions.
The successful candidate will demonstrate his or her proficiencies by reaching goals and outcomes as well through successful planning and execution. He or she must be able to efficiently manage time and tasks and be able to effectively communicate with many different internal and external personalities and stakeholders.
PIAG is a state-wide affiliate of the Printing Industries of America, the largest graphic arts trade association. PIAG is a 501(c)6 organization that also includes a 501(c)3 foundation and a for-profit insurance agency. PIAG serves over 300 graphic communications companies, suppliers, and educational institutions in Georgia. The association has existed since 1894, but there is plenty of room for new ideas and growth.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, association management, or equivalent experience required; CAE a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with public speaking skills.
Previous experience in membership or trade association, preferably in a manager or director role
Knowledge and experience in graphic arts industry a plus
Ability to identify and recommend improvements to internal processes
Ability to juggle priorities while wearing multiple hats while working with efficiency and flexibility
Minimal travel required
Must be passionate about the mission of PIAG and possess a positive attitude and integrity
Work effectively both with and without direct supervision; and, efficiently in a team environment as well as independently
