Marketing and Communications Assistant

The Marketing and Communications Assistant provides administrative support to the Marketing and Communications department in the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business and serves as the Assistant to the Associate Dean.
Duties include maintaining the Associate Dean's calendar, scheduling meetings, scheduling travel, and processing expense reports. Assist with presentations including PowerPoint. Process requisitions, maintain contracts, submit invoices, and help to track budgets. Respond to e-requests for digital signage in SC Johnson College of Business properties, post slides, and monitor displays. Assist with other marketing and communications tasks as required.
Associate's Degree with at least four years of high level administrative experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated strong communication (written and oral), interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to represent the marketing and communications department in a professional manner. Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Previous experience in a marketing environment is desirable. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Cornell financial systems proficiency a plus. Familiarity with digital image technologies, WordPress and InDesign is desirable.
