This role plays an integral role in the marketing support provided to Morgan Stanley's Wealth Management business. It collaborates with the Head of Marketing to deliver the projects outlined in the Wealth Management marketing plan.
Contribute to the development of the annual marketing plan by proposing relevant activity that will deliver results.
Manage, coordinate and implement specific projects as outlined within the marketing plan.
Support the Head of Marketing with time-critical tasks as they arise.
Manage relationships with creative agencies, mail house and printers.
Maintain the production of thought leadership content from idea initiation and scheduling, through creation to publication on both morganstanley.com.au and linkedin.com.
Provide financial advisers with quality marketing support which helps them position themselves appropriately to clients and prospects.
Contribute to the success of our efforts to attract new business by supporting the pitch and proposal process. This includes making meaningful contributions to content in addition to managing the look and feel of documentation.
Support senior management with time-critical tasks as they arise – particularly delivering quality presentations and support.
Product marketing and communications
Write and coordinate production of printed marketing material.
Support any major communication projects such as regulatory comms or product changes.
Maintain supplies in warehouse, and update/reprint existing brochures when appropriate.
Manage invoicing and ensure prompt payment of suppliers.
Manage relationships with suppliers.
Manage the review and signoff process.
Adhere to all relevant risk, legal and compliance obligations.
Technical/specialist skills/competencies required in this role
Ability to write and edit content for multiple audiences – including translating technical concepts for a non-technical audience.
Excellent grasp of grammar, punctuation and style.
Competency with technology – particularly online publishing and content management.
Ability to manage multiple projects.
Understanding of wealth management and financial advice concepts.
Understanding of financial markets and economics.
Familiarity with investment products and structures.
Knowledge of media and advertising.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Relevant tertiary qualifications in a business or marketing discipline
Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Experience required for this role
Proven experience in marketing-related positions within the financial sector, operating at a Senior Manager level
Experience operating in publishing or social media would be ideal.
Understanding of wealth management would be helpful.
Good influencing and communication skills to forge effective relationships with key stakeholders.
You must be proactive and self-sufficient – able to take a brief and work autonomously to achieve the required outcomes.
