As a part of our high-energy marketing & admissions team, the Marketing & Communications Specialist will work to raise brand awareness of Tufts Gordon Institute and support its ability to attract a community of talented and engaged students. Be a part of an exciting era on the TGI team as we develop and relaunch a refreshed brand via new campaigns, creative positioning, and an all-new website. The primary responsibilities of the position focus on enrollment marketing, lead nurturing, and community engagement. The Specialist will be involved in the development, execution, optimization, and reporting of innovative marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, email, digital advertising, and print. The Specialist will manage the monthly digital newsletter from story ideation and content creation to targeted distribution. The individual will also engage in admissions event marketing and PR-related opportunities to communicate the successes of our students and alumni, both across Tufts teams and to the outside world. Use marketing automation software to build and execute strategic email marketing campaigns
Manage social media channels, including content creation
Implement advertising campaigns across key channels, which may include digital, search, print, paid social and radio.
Plan, develop, and write content for both print and digital channels, including the TGI website and social media channels
Plan and produce video content, including alumni profiles
Contribute to the development of a multi-channel marketing & communications plan that will allow TGI to achieve its strategic enrollment goals
Track campaign performance, analyze results, make optimizations and generate insightful reports
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a marketing and communications role.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, technical or other related discipline.
High level user of the MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
Demonstrated proficiency in social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and others).
Skills and experience with many or all of the following: HubSpot or other inbound marketing software platform; CRM database management systems; Adobe Creative Suite; Google Analytics; video editing software; web content management and HTML.
Experience in higher education marketing and communications.
Experience and passion for technology innovation, entrepreneurship and leadership.
Special Work Schedule Requirements:
The standard work week is M-F, 9am-5pm, 52 weeks per year. However, some Gordon Institute programs are offered on weeknights and Saturdays and some events are held in the evenings. As a result, this position may require occasional evening hours (averaging several nights per month), especially during the academic year.
