The Texas A&M University-Central Texas College of Business Administration (COBA) welcomes highly qualified applicants to fill an immediate need for a Visiting Professor of Marketing for the 2019-2020 academic year (nine month appointment).
Applications will be reviewed promptly and the position will be filled upon finding a qualified candidate. We anticipate recruiting for a tenure-track position(s) for 2020-2021 in July, wherein a full search will be conducted. The visiting assistant professor is certainly encouraged to apply.
The candidate will be expected to teach three to four courses per term at the undergraduate and graduate level (depending on qualifications), in both face-to-face and online formats. Other responsibilities include maintaining appropriate office hours, timely responses to student inquiries, attending departmental and university functions, and performing other related duties as assigned.
At least ABD status in a doctoral marketing program at the time of hire
Must be able to provide quality instruction at the undergraduate level in marketing research and digital and internet marketing
Awarded PhD or DBA in Marketing from an AACSB accredited institution
Ability to provide quality instruction in courses such as brand management, services marketing, marketing management/strategy, marketing principles and/or other electives of interest and need
Collegiate teaching experience, including online
Publications or other significant scholarship
