The Director of Marketing & Community Engagement is responsible for assisting the overall management of in-game promotions, corporate sponsorship fulfillment, execution, and special event community fundraising for the athletic department. This position will assist with the development and implementation of marketing plans focusing on general public season tickets, single game tickets, group tickets, student attendance as well as community outreach through special events.

2 years experience working in one or more of the following areas in an athletic or related field setting: marketing, special event fundraising, community relations, integrated sales experience, and event management.
Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment.
Demonstrated ability in working with diverse populations.
Experience working in an intercollegiate, amateur, or professional sport setting.
Strategic planning and implementation skills.
Experience with the development, implementation and completion of strategic marketing plans.
A demonstrated track record of success in organizing special events and event management.
Demonstrated experience with public speaking and interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrated experience managing, directing and evaluating personnel.
Computer and technology skills, and knowledge of Adobe design software or other related publishing software and knowledge and experience in editing, designing, and updating websites.
Knowledge of NCAA compliance rules.
Strong business, written and editing skills and cash-handling responsibilities and Organizational skills sufficient to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering results and meeting deadlines.
