The Marketing/Promotion Specialist is responsible for internal and external marketing and promotion strategies and campaigns for the University of Kentucky Police Department.
The major job responsibilities of the Marketing/Promotion Specialist are coordinating marketing activities, liaising with external and internal partners, writing internal communications and external publications, and designing graphics.
Specific duties include conducting market research; developing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns; coordinating with media, external organizations, and agencies; planning and implementing outreach programs; writing and editing internal communications and external publications; maintaining departmental website and social media accounts; producing visual communications including photography, videography, and graphics; and overseeing all outsourced graphics in compliance with UK brand standards.

Bachelor’s degree plus two years of experience preferred.
