Reporting to the director, marketing and production, the associate director, marketing and production will provide leadership, strategic direction, and evaluation of activities related to direct marketing and overall donor retention, reactivation, and acquisition efforts for Development and Alumni Relations (DAR). This position is integrally involved with planning and executing the Rice Annual Fund campaigns such that overall goals are met while continuously increasing dollar amount and participation goals. Specifically, this associate director is responsible for supervising key direct marketing staff as well as the management of e-solicitation and direct mail functions. The associate director will join a dynamic and energetic communications and marketing team, and will have the opportunity to contribute to key communications strategies. The ideal candidate will be a driven and extremely organized self-starter, who thrives in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.
