The VP, Marketing will lead marketing strategy for the organization, across all BioTelemetry product lines. He/she is responsible for working closely with global executive leaders to define a vision for growth. The VP, Marketing will actively participate in the creation and maintenance of the strategic plan, will own the design of key business strategies to actively pursue new market opportunities, and will oversee the daily execution of the marketing team roles and responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education: Four-year Bachelor’s degree, with strong science, marketing, or finance background. Either an MBA or strong international sales and marketing experience is required.
Relevant Work Experience:
Minimum of eight (8) years of marketing responsibility in the medical device sector; advanced surgical medical device, suture or wound management experience preferred.
Extensive experience with strategic planning and commercializing medical device products. Strong upstream and strategic marketing skills required.
Evidence of creativity, strategic planning ability in the area of device product development. Must have solid background in people management and mentoring.
Demonstrated success in medical device business development activities as either a primary or central figure in the process.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge/Abilities –Technical Skills:
Must be fluent with medical device concepts and terminology. Working knowledge of the technical aspects of device(s) in the medical device field.
Demonstrated ability to estimate markets and forecast potential sales/market share for medical device and instrumentation and a proven ability to manage multiple products and product life cycle planning. Strong analytical skills.
Communication Skills (Verbal/Written): Excellent oral and written communications skills. Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to effectively operate with strategic, operational, technical and financial partners both internally and externally.
