Marketing Manager, CEBI, College of Business Administration

Manage the development, administration/execution, and marketing of Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation (CEBI) events at the College of Business Administration (COBA), on campus and around the region. Perform a wide range of duties to develop and execute CEBI promotional and social media strategies and coordinate with other entrepreneurship programs in the region. Collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate regional events to provide a coordinated, comprehensive public relations and marketing message. Reports to Director, Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation and to Director, Marketing Communications and Public Relations, College of Business Administration.

Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
Develop and manage events, including seminars, board meetings, pitch competitions, and other events associated with entrepreneurship initiatives at COBA, on campus, and around the region.
Manage the development, administration/execution of marketing and promotions strategy to maintain high awareness and understanding of CEBI among students, alumni, and local community entrepreneurship and business communities.
Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including students, faculty, business community, and other COBA programs, to coordinate regional events and to provide a coordinated, comprehensive public relations and marketing message.
Collaborate with Directors to coordinate and execute social media efforts for CEBI.
Design, execute, and disseminate regular electronic communications highlighting the operations and successes of CEBI through Constant Contact, PR Log, and other outlets.
Track entrepreneurship program graduates’ successes and maintain contact information.
Assemble data for ranking reports on entrepreneurship.
Assist with special projects and other assignments as requested by Directors.
Serve on university committees as assigned by Directors.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study. Five years of progressively responsible experience in developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns, focusing on strategy and design, and in maintaining various social media outlets and grassroots implementation. Must be able to work nontraditional hours, including evenings and weekends.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. May work varied hours to include evenings and weekends during peak periods; may require occasional travel on and off-campus.
Must pass a security check.
