Northwestern University is seeking a temporary Marketing Analyst for the Evanston campus.
Temporary Job Description:
The Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Analyst to analyze paid and owned marketing initiatives and advise on performance and optimization. This role requires an analytic thinker who is comfortable pulling data from disparate data sources to uncover opportunities for improvement in our efforts and guide future strategy.
The Marketing Analyst will contribute to an integrated marketing strategy by analyzing and reporting on performance of digital marketing channels including website, blog, email, social media, organic search, and paid search and how each channel can be optimized in support of efficient and effective lead nurturing. This person will be an integral part of setting the tone for a culture of measurement and it’s important you’re quick and light on your feet.
Bachelor's degree in business, economics, statistics, marketing or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience working with databases, reporting on data and working in an analytical capacity; 1+ years of in digital marketing experience preferred.
Experience with visualization tools, web analytics tools and CRM solutions.Experience with Slate is a bonus.
Strong presentational, written and oral communication skills.
Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve problems.
Ideal candidates will possess analytical skills and business acumen and a desire to continually hone them.
MS Office suite 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
