PROFESSIONAL BOOKS MARKETING ASSOCIATE , MIT Press , to execute marketing initiatives for professional and academic books, coordinating the production of deliverables, and executing campaigns across mediums. Will report to the digital marketing and advertising manager who will oversee campaign planning and strategy. Responsibilities include executing and monitoring digital marketing campaigns for professional books across all digital advertising platforms (Amazon Advertising, Google AdWords, Facebook Advertising, etc.); executing organic and grassroots marketing initiatives, including social media, email marketing, and distribution partner campaigns; developing seasonal marketing calendars--under the supervision of the digital marketing manager--for professional books; creating targeted emails for various academic fields featuring MIT Press professional books; researching and booking ad slots for professional books marketing with relevant websites and publications, commissioning and delivering creative as needed; coordinating creative requests for professional books marketing; communicating marketing plans and campaign results to authors; maintaining grassroots outreach to professional societies and other organizations with potential for distribution partnerships; and gathering and reporting data on professional books marketing initiatives.
