Description of Mission Impact: The Director of MarCom works with the MarCom team to promote Houghton’s programs, offerings, image, and reputation as a national leader in Christian liberal arts education by managing the creative voice and brand of the college in electronic, printed, and spoken forms, serving as the college’s primary news contact. Critical Relationships: The Director of Marketing and Communications reports directly to the Vice President for Planning and Innovation. S/he supervises the MarCom team in its key domains of marketing, content creation, design, media relations, web-coordination, and production. Key partners include the enrollment/admissions team, the advancement team, and the President’s Office. Essential Functions:
