NBTV, Channels is the world’s first shoppable streaming service revolutionizing e-commerce and media consumption. We’re looking for the brightest to join our team.
This role is responsible for leading the marketing strategy with focus on user acquisition and the goal of strengthening our brand and accelerating membership sales.
Qualified candidates should have experience in e-commerce and subscription businesses with advanced skills in creative marketing, media analytics and outside of the box thinking and Spirits industry experience preferred. The right candidate will demonstrate outside the box thinking with hands-on execution. Experience in OTT, SVOD, memberships, e-commerce and/or the spirits industry would be optimal (but not required).
Drive Subscriber Growth/User Acquisition
Oversee multichannel marketing including social, events, strategic partnerships
Manage media buying strategies and analytics
Build a long-term content roadmap and manage a short-term calendar for social media, email marketing, video, long-form content, infographics, blogs and earned media.
Collaborate with our partners, providers, supporters, and influencers and work alongside creative resources to rapidly develop high-quality content that aligns with audience needs, scientific evidence, our positioning, and brand identity.
Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance across all marketing and communications channels.
Design and review the Marketing department’s budget.
Build online relationships with influencers and key audiences
Listen, moderate, and respond to comments and conversations across all communications channels including customer service.
Establish social media guidelines and train and support staff to reinforce our strategy and contribute to constructive online conversations.
With the support of our analytics team, develop social media and content metrics and goals, analyze and report on performance weekly, and suggest and implement optimizations
Build relationship with media and stakeholders thought creative PR strategies
Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to drive engagement and build communities using owned and earned channels.
Demonstrated skill for storytelling in multimedia formats and collaborating with creative stakeholders.
Exceptional business communication and creative writing skills.
Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment in communicating on behalf of an organization where sensitivity, empathy, and accuracy is paramount.
Experience leveraging analytics to understand and communicate social media performance.
5-7 years of social media and content management experience, with a record of accomplishment developing and implementing social media strategies and integrated campaigns in collaboration with multiple stakeholders, preferably within other start-up organizations
Please be prepared to share samples of original written and multimedia content assets you’ve produced.
PREFERRED: Experience with spirits brands or the spirits industry
Proficiency with social media management and listening tools
Proficiency building reports with Excel and PowerPoint using data from Facebook, Twitter, Google Analytics and other sources.
Experience with WordPress
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud tools
PREFERRED: Experience with Mailchimp or similar
