Job Description Summary
Reporting to the Senior Director of Wharton Online, the Senior Associate Director of Digital Marketing and Content is a key member of the Wharton Online team, responsible for revenue generation of greater than five million dollars annually. The Senior Associate Director is responsible for co-creating and implementing the marketing strategy for Wharton Onlineâ™s open-enrollment courses, and oversees the creation and implementation of all educational and promotional content offered by Wharton Online. The Senior Associate Director manages Wharton Onlineâ™s marketing agency with a $500k annual budget. Additionally, the Senior Associate Director director leads Wharton Onlineâ™s content strategy according to editorial and content standards, develops and maintains strong, high level client relationships across the University and School and shares best practices in content creation across the School. The Senior Associate Director also identifies, oversees and manages the workflow of freelancers and student workers and ensures that projects are on track to meet deadlines and budget. The Senior Associate Director integrates marketing and social media across Wharton Online to expand Wharton Onlineâ™s reach globally promote the broader Wharton brand, and increase revenue for executive education.
Lead the development, creation and implementation of comprehensive content marketing strategy for our target personas that drive company business goals and marketing KPIs. Optimize and update Wharton Onlineâ™s website and digital presence to improve user experience and increase conversion rates.
Direct all aspects of course production of online and blended programs for both B2B and B2C audiences including content development, video production, course building, and monitoring. Oversee internal staff and team of freelancers to do so.
Cultivate and grow social media identity for Wharton Online; create and deliver branded content, manage social publishing across core company accounts including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, communicate with followers, and monitor learner comments and online communities.
Develop and manage production calendars and content creation workflows to maximize opportunities to reach and nurture target audiences.
Manage and maintain all project files and digital assets.
Perform additional dutiesas assigned.
Masters Degree Preferred; 5 - 7 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in video production in a professional environment required
Experience with online course production required
Experience with digital marketing with higher education required
