The campus is comprised of 18 wooded acres, 18 classrooms, the Arts and Athletic Center, Media Center and extensive natural play areas, including a new elementary playscape. Outdoor learning, including exploration through field trips, is integral to the curriculum. Raleigh is located in the southeastern corner of the Research Triangle, a prospering area with three leading research universities, many high-tech companies and an impressive array of museums and cultural activities.
The Raleigh School is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Admission and Marketing. This is a full-time, 12-month, benefits-eligible position. Previous admission and marketing experience required. Blackbaud database experience highly preferred.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Work with the Head of School and the Senior Administrative Team to maintain and articulate the overall mission, policies and philosophy of the school
Serve as an active and collaborative member of the Senior Administrative Team
Plan and manage all admissions related events, such as Open Houses, tours, and New Parent meetings
Manage all inquiries and keep necessary documentation; support families through admissions process
Oversee the admissions, enrollment, and re-enrollment processes including communication, preparation, distribution, receipt, and documentation of contract packages as well as the preschool class placement process
Create and communicate annual admissions and financial aid calendars and ensure current
Work as a member of the Financial Aid Committee to review financial aid applications to determine families’ ability to pay and eligibility for financial assistance
Coordinate and train parent admissions ambassadors /welcome committees
Serve as the administrator for Admissions software and website, with responsibility for updates and upgrades
Represent/promote The Raleigh School to prospective families during visits, at fairs, and with other organizations in the community including the Triangle Independent School Consortium
Be a visible presence at the school
Develop and implement recruitment and retention strategies, initiatives, and relationships
Analyze admissions data and regularly prepare reports for Head of School, Board of Trustees, and other constituent groups
Enhance successful recruitment and outreach efforts to increase interest from prospective students.
Develop and implement the school's marketing and communications strategies and materials including but not limited to social media posts, print ads, admissions publications, and website
Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs utilizing proficiency in SEO and social media marketing principles to build a pool of prospective families
Foster a positive image of The Raleigh School within the community
Be aware of educational opportunities and resources for teachers and parents within the community
Be familiar with other preschool and elementary school programs and network with other preschool/elementary school personnel
Provide sound fiscal management of admissions and marketing expenses
Oversee inventory of admissions supplies and equipment
Assist with the formation of the school calendar
Maintain accurate and appropriate admissions-related legal and financial files and records
