We are currently seeking a Marketing Product Specialist to join our Marketing Department to provide clients, prospects and internal parties with timely and accurate written communications and portfolio reporting support related to the firm's growing fixed income and equity product lines. This position will work closely with our shared services departments and members of the fixed income investment team to understand all aspects of each product line. Our preferred candidate must have fixed income and equity experience as well as a passion for financial analysis and writing.
What You Will Do:
Complete fixed income and equity writing requests including white papers, Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI), and other ad-hoc qualitative Marketing content.
Participate in assigned projects and business initiatives impacting growing product lines and in support of business priorities.
Provide input and serve as a resource to internal partners regarding fixed income portfolio reporting and enhancement requests.
Assist the team with fixed income marketing research and portfolio competitive analysis to contribute to idea generation for new content.
Own all fixed income Marketing standardized qualitative materials and ad-hoc content.
Contribute to the development of fixed income training curriculum that educates and promotes product enhancements and modifications to internal partners.
What You Will Need:
Three to five years of relevant financial services work experience including fixed income.
Clear, concise written and verbal communication.
Proficient Microsoft Office Suite skills such as Word and PowerPoint applications.
Advanced Excel and computer skills, along with strong math and quantitative aptitude.
Excellent analytical and organization skills with outstanding attention to detail.
Ability to collaborate with a team and execute responsibilities independently.
Working knowledge across a variety of capital markets software applications and analytics tools an asset: Advent products (APX or Geneva), FactSet, Bloomberg, eVestment, Zephyr, Seismic, Qvidian.
Ability to work independently as well as with a dynamic group of individuals.
Possession of or progress towards a CFA designation is preferred.
Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university, preferably with a major in Finance, Business or Accounting, or equivalent experience.
