Manage and advance the company's demand generation and customer acquisition strategy and function. Partner with Digital Marketing to develop and deploy sustainable, best practice digital marketing capabilities and processes to enable customer acquisition and engagement across our global and regional marketing teams, and customer touch points. Seek ways to align and empower the two teams for maximum digital impact. On behalf of the VP of Industry and Portfolio Marketing, collaborate with peers and other functional and business leaders across the organization to align on the case for change and develop, execute and support specific initiatives and strategies that substantially advance the function and drive strategic and revenue goals globally.
Lead the Marketing Operations function by orchestrating the planning, budgeting, and forecasting of the marketing department and managing marketing automation systems. Establish and maintain scalable processes within the department that leverage best practices in campaign management and customer experience. Ensure strong lead conversion and high ROI through close partnership with Commercial Operations and Regional Sales & Marketing..
Define key marketing metrics and manage the process of packaging these into clear and concise reports and dashboards that clearly communicate the overall effectiveness of the Marketing Operations team, the Marketing function and its programs on sales initiatives and business performance. Lead efforts in the utilization of data-driven methodologies (ML), analyses (AI), and measurement to improve the effectiveness of all marketing channels.
Marketing Technology Management
Lead, in partnership with Digital Marketing and Information Technology, the selection and management of technology platforms and partner to ensure that Marketing maximizes its performance and return on investment on enabling technologies. Drive continuous improvement to significantly step up the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing technologies. Establish and maintain a technology roadmap and capability maturity framework for marketing related platforms.
Marketing Financials Management
Manage financial matters related to the Marketing function globally, with a strong focus on optimizing and scaling the effectiveness of marketing programs and campaigns based on ROI and other related KPIs. Partner with Finance to develop new metrics to support Marketing's transformation to a more strategic function. Monitor and control costs associated with enterprise-wide marketing campaigns, initiatives, and pilot projects.
Communication & Engagement
Lead action planning and tracking to address opportunities identified by the annual Global Voices engagement survey. Publish, execute and communicate across the global organization. As needed, conduct annual voice of marketing survey and follow-up action planning and tracking.
Create and foster mutually beneficial partnerships with global and regional marketing, commercial operations, market access, finance, human resources, information technology and other functions as appropriate.
