Work Hours/Shift: Full Time
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting volume driving, key service line initiatives and campaigns to include internal communications, external communications and PR. Marketing Coordinator is also responsible for community outreach activities and campus events. Additionally, the Marketing Coordinator will oversee the content management of the hospitalâ™s external website, internal Arc intranet site, and social media campaigns.
This position works closely with graphic designers, photographers, videographers, digital media, media relations, community relations, directors, managers, physicians, nurses, director of cultural and organizational development and administration while reporting to the Marketing Manager. Position also has a strong tie to the physician liaison, and senior community liaison to ensure volume and program goals are met and any issues affecting marketability are properly escalated and resolved. Works with the director of cultural and organizational development on internal communications and leads the development and execution of external marketing/communications plans while meeting budget parameters and providing return on investment metrics for programs. This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities as well as the advertising strategies and tactics to grow the brand, employee and patient loyalty and service line volumes at the hospital.
Responsible for facilitating hospital and community events. Writes content for collaterals, the internal ARC website and external hospital website, press releases, and social media. Assists as needed, with on-call public relations media coverage. Supports service line campaigns with physician seminars to drive volume, collaterals to promote key service lines at events and aligns messaging across all media assets. Facilitates and maintains hospitalâ™s Healthy Happenings event calendar. Is responsible for creating these events as they align with key service lines and marketing strategies. Fiscally responsible and understands marketing budget, helping to ensure expenditures align with annual budget. Researches advertising opportunities as needed and makes appropriate recommendations. Directly supports physician liaison and senior community liaison representatives by ensuring they have collaterals and other resources to share with physicians and senior community. Serves as campus coordinator for CBISA in capturing and entering online all community service related events and hours donated by staff. Represents the hospital positively in the community through civic or other associations as appropriate. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serves as internal ARC website coordinator and manages content for internal Arc intranet website to include: posting announcement and banners; Sets up new team members and provides training as needed; sets up new team pages and widgets; acts as point person for all Arc issues and manages resolution with the West Florida Division Office IT ARC representative.
Develops key messaging, design and provides direction on creative execution. Oversees the creation and production of all marketing communication materials and facilitates necessary approvals on all materials. Ensures compliance on all marketing materials and internal initiatives.
Responsible for the development of web and social media content strategy as it relates to physicians.
Responsible for tracking ROI of all marketing initiatives and establishing tracking mechanisms. Oversees subsequent market plan adjustments.
Supports Physician Liaison and Senior Community Liaison with development of marketing materials (i.e. promotional items specific to physicians, print materials, referral pads, etc.).
Assists Physician Liaison with establishing linkage and promoting referrals between the hospital and physicians and their office staffs.
Collaborates with med staff, medical records, and other internal departments as appropriate to facilitate physician strategies
Manage and facilitate community and campus events. Maintains the hospitalâ™s Healthy Happenings event calendar and creates events to align with the hospitalâ™s key service lines and marketing strategies.
Writes and develops content for collaterals, internal and external websites, press releases, and social media.
Ability to engage and interact with hospitalâ™s leadership team; develop consensus and guide marketing planning that serves the promotion of the hospital service lines.
Assists with tracking ROI of all marketing initiatives and establishing tracking mechanisms.
Develops copy and content as appropriate to consumer marketing/communications and ensures that an adequate supply is always available.
Manages content on external hospital website; serves as role of âœwebmasterâ and is responsible for managing web inquiries; acts as point person for all website issues that cannot be resolved locally and manages resolution with the corporate office.
Manages content on social media outlets for the hospital, including Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, YouTube, etc. Monitors social media and manages inquiries/issues as recommended by AdventHealth corporate digital guidelines.
Writes and edits press releases, blogs, social media posts or other external communications.
Represents organization at community and hospital-based events.
Responsible for capturing and entering hospitalâ™s CBISA community service events and hours to meet annual goal.
Manages outside vendors to include creative, graphic design, video and photography; oversees and manages their activities and overall workload. Tracks spending appropriately.
Assists in managing the marketing budget to ensure expenditures align with annual budget and support marketing strategies and initiatives.
Orders and maintains supply of hospital giveaways for events and promotions.
Ability to take photos at events, as needed.
Ability to work occasional evening and weekend hours as needed for events.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organization skills with attention to detail and solid computer skills are essential and required.
MUST BE A STRONG WRITER, capable of writing a wide variety of communications in the appropriate contexts of tone, length, audience, and intended use.
Demonstrates fundamental knowledge of marketing, communications, and public relations.
Must have strong collaborative skills, must be a strong facilitator and have the ability to work independently, as well as within a matrix organization.
Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to implement initiatives in a strategic manner with minimal supervision.
Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment and have solid creative problem- solving skills.
Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) as well as Internet based software applications such as Survey Monkey and Constant Contact.
Must have working knowledge of desktop publishing software including Microsoft Publisher. Preferred knowledge of Adobe InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator, but not required.
Knowledge of website content management and social media marketing.
Must be able to work occasional evenings and weekends for events.
Must be a team player.
Must conduct themselves in a professional manner always.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Four-year college degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Communications, Business, or related field.
Minimum two-years health care experience
Experience in marketing, public relations or communications is preferred. Medical or hospital related marketing experience is highly desirable.
