We are looking for the right Account Executive to work collaboratively with our larger National Accounts in the web-direct channel to ensure their success. This is a high level, high profile position that will require key strategic thought and engagement with multiple Gemline departments and Gemline Leadership Team. This Account Executive will be excited and effective at developing and maintaining relationships with National Accounts assigned to their position. They will have the opportunity to develop and set sales goals based on our Company strategy, in collaboration with the Vice President of National Accounts. The ideal candidate will be energized in working in a fast-paced environment and driven on exceeding goals. The Account Executive position is a strategic position, dealing with Gemline’s largest accounts and focused on positioning them for growth. Responsibilities - Develop and deliver a strategy for achieving sales revenue and profit in assigned National Account portfolio with a sales volume average of $20+ million.
- Develop and maintain Account relationships through appropriate customer meetings.
- Prepare and conduct quarterly business reviews for assigned National Accounts.
- Management of National Accounts private social media and portals. Monitoring, responding to and posting pertinent content to the respective National Accounts.
- Work with National Accounts Sales Leadership and Supplier Relations team to identify key sales targets. Review the targets with Gemline Regional Managers and Inside Sales teams and orchestrate appropriate account focus and follow up.
- Ensure price lists and service charges are properly executed at an account level
- Provide input on product recommendations for specials/promotions. Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing and Supply Chain teams.
- Engage National Accounts on educational webinars and sales meeting participation.
- Handle all aspects of End User Show and National Sales Meetings for National Accounts. Registration, payment, field coverage/attendance, strategy and plan for these events.
- Understand customer execution strategies and decision-making process and be a liaison between the client & Gemline, focusing on goals and objectives for both.
- Participate in the development and execution of effective sales/marketing strategies across portfolio to achieve all revenue & margin goals.
- Manage all aspects of the customer presentations from agenda and deck development to delivery for regular business review and new product/service introductions.
- Provide insights and recommendations to drive growth plan and share with leadership based on strong financial analytics.
- Ensure alignment and accountability with sales representatives both internal and external.
- Represents the company at industry trade, customer events and national sales meetings.
- Maintain National Account customer and mailing list. Updates shared with New Accounts and CRM updates.
- All other duties as assigned.
