The mission of Marketing is to build the best possible brand, experiences, and engagement with our customers and stakeholders that reflect our commitment to our customers and their needs and to driving key business and stakeholder outcomes. In support of this mission, Marketing is responsible for developing integrated marketing strategies across Wells Fargo's business lines and geographies; leading brand strategy; leveraging deep insights and analytics about consumers and businesses; executing customer messaging across all channels and touchpoints; and building out capabilities that move toward real-time, always-on, personalized and compelling messaging and digital experiences. The Marketing Digital Accessibility and Governance program seeks to minimize and mitigate risk for several digital policies, including accessibility for people with disabilities. We are seeking Digital Accessibility Consultants to join the team. This position will be responsible for providing a consultative role to any project teams who have questions or need guidance on how to be in compliance with the various established Accessibility Standards & Policies. This position will also work towards assessing and documenting other forms of digital risk.
About the Role

Responsibilities- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for questions/needs related to accessibility
- Educate internal team members on the importance of accessibility by enhancing & delivering training presentations
- Maintain accessibility standards for the organization and track areas of non-compliance and report associated defects/findings
- Consult and assist with resolution of accessibility and other policy-related risk and corrective actions assigned to marketing digital properties
- Participate in accessibility testing with accessibility tools, assistive technologies, manual tools, etc. for both digital sites as well as electronic documents such as PDFs
- Maintain and contribute to an online repository for storing accessibility related education, trainings, artifacts, and resources that are available to internal team members
- Remain up-to-date on the field of accessibility
Market Skills and Certifications
Essential Qualifications:- Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree from any reputable school or university
- At least 3 years in digital product or marketing development, design, user experience, front-end development, or content strategy
- Proficient in HTML and CSS development, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Experience reviewing design documents to provide accessibility requirements to development teams
- Intermediate understanding of coding languages
- Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken
- Strong passion for accessibility & the ability to serve as a strong advocate for this group of users
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities in a cross-functional environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
- Strong relationship building skills
- Experience in Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0/2.1 and conducting accessibility testing with a variety of tools including, but not limited to, automated checkers (axe, WAVE, etc.), desktop screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, etc.), mobile screen readers (VoiceOver, TalkBack), high contrast mode, and keyboard only is a big plus
- Must be amenable to work night shift (8PM to 5AM Philippine Time)
