Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in communications or related field

• Three or more years of work-related experience in digital/web marketing content.

• Previous work in an association environment is preferred.
• Exceptional project coordination and time management skills; able to perform in a deadline-oriented environment and manage multiple projects at one time

• Superior written and oral communication skills with the ability to maintain attention to detail, consistency, and grammar
• A positive attitude, working well independently and in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience developing web content strategy and familiarity with web content management systems (expert knowledge of HTML and CSS required).
• Experience working with YM preferred.
• Experience working with Google Analytics.
• Experience working with Informz or similar email management systems required.
• Familiarity with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Travel Requirements: Minimal travel

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, AOC staff are currently working remotely but are expected to work in the Alexandria office when returning to an office is deemed safe.
