That's where you come in.As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for delivering Business Unit and product representation to the field for the evolution of FactoryTalk Automation Software. This role will also be seen as a commercial liaison globally in the business unit for launch readiness, sales engagement, voice of the customer, and field issues. You will work closely with strategic marketing, global sales & marketing, third party partners and other Rockwell product groups to commercially prepare, launch, and support the evolution of FactoryTalk Automation Software. This position will allow you to collaborate with multiple global cross-functional teams. **Preferred location is Mayfield Heights Ohio, Milwaukee Wisconsin or San Jose California. We will also consider other remote Rockwell Locations in the US.What you will doCollaboratively define and coordinate go-to-market strategy and launch of the next generation FactoryTalk Automation Software portfolio, including collaboration with sales, commercial marketing, and other groups as appropriate to implement the plans.Collaborate with product management, commercial engineering, and commercial marketing to drive digital content generation for FactoryTalk Automation Software.Represent the business unit for customer presentations, meetings, and drive voice of customer engagementsIdentify strategies for customer product lifecycle management and recognize opportunities for legacy migration and elegant migrations of key productsDefine and communicate market and customer requirements and create commercial messaging to drive sales and field engagement.Responsible for developing strategies to optimize the performance of existing and new product use and value.Competitive analysis and formulation of competitive counter strategies for new products and existing products. Attend technical symposiums and exhibits to maintain knowledge on available and competitive technology. Basic qualificationsBachelor's degree.Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job openingPreferred qualificationsBachelor's degree in business management, engineering, technical marketing, or equivalentMinimum of 5 years of experience in the industrial automation industry.Experience interfacing with customers and defining customer problems.Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsMust be able and willing to travel up to 10% of the time.Experience with a diverse set of technical and commercial aspects of automation control systemsExcellent communication and presentation skills and influencing capabilities, efficient in Microsoft Office products, and an ability to work with a geographically dispersed team to achieve position objectives.
