Job Summary

This is a pivotal role, partnering with the Northeast Project Management team to drive the quality, consistency and creativity of our pitch, solutions and business development efforts. Candidate must have a strong and natural understanding of what makes a winning pitch, supporting and challenging teams while leading them through all aspects of the pitch process. Candidate will be responsible for the coordination, management and creation of pursuits.

Essential duties:

• Partner with the business, taking a leading role on creating strategic pitches with high visibility opportunities
• Serve as an innovative and collaborative member of the Northeast PJM team
• Collaborate with team to understand all aspects of the opportunity and develop a carefully reasoned, client focused strategic approach
• Collaborate with team to identify unique value propositions relevant to the opportunity, key messages and new and innovative techniques to form a compelling story
• Manage all aspects of the pitch process from start to finish consistently implementing Finishing First
• Prioritize multiple requests based on deadlines and business requirements
• Engage and coordinate with other marketing and solutions team.
• Actively develop graphic and written content as needed.
• Create content including writing, editing and proof reading
• Provide a consistent level of service and maintain high standards of excellence
• Assist in analyzing post-pitch client feedback and sharing lessons learned across the team
• Consistently memorialize best practices, value propositions and strategic approaches to leverage efficiently across the business

• Works calmly under pressure and adheres to tight deadlines with attention to detail
• Capacity to absorb and translate broad concepts and ideas into clear and logical communications
• Confident and able to deal with stakeholders effectively at all levels of seniority
• Graphic designer (intermediate level) Microsoft PPT and Adobe InDesign

Experience

• Strong educational background - degree qualified in a relevant field
• Strong background in design (layout) and writing (editing) is essential
• Architecture, Construction or Project Management industry experience
