The University of Missouri, a Division I institution, is seeking an energetic, positive, creative individual to serve as Assistant Director - Sport Marketing. This is a full-time, benefit eligible position and will be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of a quality marketing program for the University of Missouri Department of Athletics. Additional responsibilities to include: proposing, evaluation, coordination and implementation of marketing and community relations strategies; creation and implementation of marketing plans and serving as marketing contact for assigned sports; produces, schedules and coordinates activities in assigned programs; produces and distributes marketing and community relations materials; supervises and trains staff as well as volunteers, interns and work study participants; assists in special projects; performs additional duties as assigned. An Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preference will be given to applicants with previous marketing experience and with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and/or InDesign and in-venue music programs. |
