Loyola University Maryland Department of Athletics is seeking high-energy and outgoing candidates to be the Assistant or Associate Director of Strategic Marketing. The successful candidate will create grassroots opportunities to communicate and engage with Loyola students, coordinate and plan with various on-campus departments and organizations to increase the reach and awareness of Loyola Athletics. The successful candidate will Manage the external social media accounts that support Loyola Athletics; assist with creation and distribution of video, static, and other creative content. Serve as POC for Van Wagner Sports Enterprises for the execution of most social media-based content that is sponsored.
The Assistant or Associate Director of Strategic Marketing will be a primary promoter of Loyola Athletics to continue to push the Greyhounds brand throughout the community through social media, partnership with existing groups both internally to Loyola and externally. The successful candidate will lead effort to identify and build a robust offering of group ticket opportunities (as they relate to marketing plan) that will engage both for-profit and non-profit organizations in the Baltimore community and oversee the planning and executing for the Men's Basketball Courtside Club, including the sale of courtside seating, management, and communication of the gameday events. The position will also support Loyola's third-party corporate sales partner (Van Wagner Sports Enterprises) to ensure all elements of each contract are delivered as pertains to Loyola Athletics ticket sales and strategic marketing efforts.
