Job Description The VP, Commercial and Specialty Marketing reports to the Aetna HCB Chief Marketing Officer, and leads a team of 80 professionals responsible for the development of both B2C and B2B marketing for Aetna members and plan sponsors. This leader defines and aligns marketing strategies to balance short-term goals with long-term brand value ensuring greater market visibility and awareness of CVS Health and Aetnaâ™s differentiated value proposition.
You will be the lead responsible for all Commercial and Specialty acquisition, retention and cross-sell, product launches, B2B segment marketing, the end-to-end open enrollment strategy and execution, provider marketing, local marketing and the strategy and execution of the direct to consumer Individual Government Exchange marketing. You will drive the multi-year Commercial and Specialty marketing strategy, and develop the go-to-market strategy for product launches and for continuous evolution of our Aetna offerings. A collaborative team mindset and the ability to build consensus in a highly matrixed, cross-functional environment is required. A critical skill needed for this role is the ability to partner with Sr Level business unit executives and be a strategic partner and trusted advisor in helping to craft strategies to drive business growth.

Preferred Qualifications -Proactively drives the multi-year marketing strategy to support growth and revenue targets for the companyâ™s Commercial and Specialty Marketing. Responsible for B2B and B2C employer and health plan marketing, product marketing, and sales enablement. -Leads all acquisition, retention and cross-sell for the Commercial and Specialty organization -Partners with BU leads to identify all strategic and growth initiatives. -Leads marketing efforts focused on brand strategy, communications, DTC and lead generation B2B campaigns, sales enablement to align with strategic goals and drive business growth -Leads all local marketing across 17 markets -Leads all Joint Venture (5) marketing, each with their own brand guidelines and acquisition and retention strategies -Leads a culture of collaboration with marketing and sales leaders to align specific marketing strategies with sales goals, timelines and pipeline management initiatives, working in tandem to drive growth. -Collaborate with Product Marketing Leadership in the initial conceptualization of new offerings and the development of the strategic business plan, bringing insights, competitive differentiation and overall positioning. -Develops a best-in-class marketing team focused on creating plan sponsor and membership growth
