The Marketing Strategist will be based in Hong Kong and be a part of the Fitch Ratings' global Marketing organization. Fitch Ratings' Marketing organization is responsible for planning and executing fully-integrated marketing strategies and creating brand differentiation in support of Fitch Ratings' global businesses. The team works closely with stakeholders to understand their business objectives in order to plan and execute go-to-market programs, while deploying the appropriate marketing mix. The team covers multiple marketing disciplines, including but not limited to, content and product marketing, marketing analytics, event strategy, advertising and branding, as well as marketing operations.
This is a 6 months maternity cover position, and we prefer candidate who can join at Oct 2021.
Working with the Regional Head of Marketing for Asia Pacific, this role will support marketing initiatives across Fitch Ratings' four key business sectors: Corporate Finance, Structured Finance, Global Public Finance, and Financial Institutions. Specific responsibilities include:
Support business by coordinating marketing programs and underlying tactics, including email campaigns, content development, events and advertising, awards pitching
Develop new marketing content and collateral to aid in promoting existing and new business development in the Asia Pacific region
Partner with Fitch analytical specialists in the region to effectively position key thought leadership and intellectual capital, ensuring the business is fully maximizing our research content for business development purposes and the company is amplifying key intellectual capital to raise brand visibility in strategic markets
Coordinate with Fitch Group marketing resources (digital media, video, email campaigns, social media, CRM, press, etc.) and external vendors to execute strategies, deploying appropriate shared marketing services
Work with business partners and global events team to execute and market regional events portfolio, including both hosted events and sponsorships
Coordinate with the internal Creative & Design team or external agency for advertising and marketing content development for events and campaigns; experience working with translation services a plus
Analyze results of marketing campaigns by collecting data and deriving insights to help our business partners make more informed decisions
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or a similar field
Minimum of 3-4 years of marketing experience within financial services, preferably B2B
Experience working in a global organization is preferred
Regional market experience and understanding of business culture and mindset, in China is essential
Content and research marketing experience preferred
Significant experience with project management including planning, organizing, and executing simultaneous projects and activities (i.e. You can prioritize high-impact activities, while keeping complicated smaller projects moving forward)
Proven experience with digital marketing, including digital advertising, social media (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Weibo, WeChat, etc.), and website governance
Prior experience with marketing analytics concepts and data-driven marketing highly desired
Qualifications & Skills:
Fluent in both business English and Mandarin (spoken and written)
Proficiency in MS Office, (Excel specifically), Marketo, Jira, Content Management Systems preferred
Proven ability to work with various parties and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills as the role will be liaising with stakeholders and team members internally and vendors externally
Strong communication, content development and editorial skills required
