The Impact: S&P Global ESG demand generation specialists are producers of key marketing campaigns that support ESG commercial and corporate engagement goals. The role will work under the direction of the ESG Demand Generation Lead and in partnership with key CSA stakeholders, product managers, commercial partners and marketing colleagues from across S&P Global business divisions, to develop and implement of various campaigns to engage clients & prospects, drive lead generation, and align with the larger ESG business strategy.
Corporate engagement related marketing will support the increase of company participation in the to the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA). The CSA is an evaluation of companies' sustainability practices. It covers over 10,000 companies from around the world. The CSA focuses on sustainability criteria that are both industry-specific and financially material and has been doing so since 1999. Key responsibilities include, developing the annual global demand generation plan for the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), and executing multi-channel, thematic and persona-based campaigns, that span digital, social, events and webinars. For this task the role collaborates closely with the Corporate Engagement team that is ultimately accountable for the increase in CSA participation and related activities.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $50.8k - $105.4k Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
Responsibilities * Marketing communications - Design and implement creative, multi-channel ESG marketing programs that educate on the practical aspects and methodology of the CSA and ESG Scores. * Campaign content - Produce engaging and differentiated web and advertising copy, social posts, and email campaigns aligned to the engagement plan of the CSA and the market for related services. Analyze and measure performance to maximize reach and effectiveness. * Digital Focus-optimizing website content, social media and SEO/SEM to target and drive interest to learn about our CSA and ESG Scores offerings * CSA Engagement -Working in close collaboration with and guidance from the head of Corporate Engagement to help communicate the CSA timeline, results, methodology, related analysis and webcasts including The Sustainability Yearbook, and ESG Scores. * Event support & management - Work closely with the events team to innovate and execute a virtual and in-person ESG event program, including webinars, roundtables and third-party conferences. This includes pre-event/ post communication, driving registrations, generating leads, and reporting on key event KPIs. * Cross functional teams - Collaborate with cross-divisional marketing and functional teams to deliver joined-up ESG marketing activities and provide timely updates.
What We're Looking For: The ideal candidate will possess ESG marketing experience and demonstrate a keen interest in accelerating the transition to a low carbon, sustainable and equitable future, and growing CSA participation. Strong written and communication skills are critical, as is the ability to be a strong individual contributor. The candidate must demonstrate their ability to craft compelling messaging and leverage the full complement of marketing channels. In addition to being very detail oriented.
Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred) * Basic understanding of the industries and markets covered by S&P Global * Experience in budget management * Experience in writing marketing copy that clearly communicates a product's benefits and unique selling proposition * Knowledge of print, digital, social, and event channels used to build B2B marketing campaigns * Presentation skills, detailed written and verbal communication skills * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced and changeable environment * Ability to collaborate with others beyond one's reporting line * Familiarity with Salesforce CRM, Drift, and Marketo marketing automation a plus
