The National Pest Management Association is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as the Association’s Marketing and Communications coordinator. This position will assist the organization in its approach to marketing and communicating with over 5,000 member companies and the broader $10B structural pest control industry. This person will assist in the development and implementation of marketing efforts geared toward increasing conference attendance, recruiting and retaining members and utilizing modern day communication approaches to keep members informed of NPMA and chapter Association efforts related to our mission and vision.

Now for the obligatory details…
Assist with the development and execution of NPMA’s marketing and communications plan, consistent with the association’s strategic objectives.
Analyze and interpret data that will provide the ability to market and communicate more effectively with our members and industry.
Support and monitor annual budget for communications and marketing initiatives
Coordinate marketing activities that contribute to a strong, positive image for the association
Assist with editorial content and business operations of print and electronic vehicles for NPMA and managed associations
Work closely with Membership Department on recruitment and retention efforts
Analyze inbound and outbound member engagement
Update content and functionality of the NPMA website, state sites, community website, and mobile app
Assist in efforts to routinely improve/enhance external communications
Additional duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Communications or related discipline
3-5 years of experience in member relations, association management, member marketing/communications, program/product marketing (trade association experience preferred)
Prior experience using Informz or similar preferred.
Prior experience with Aptify or similar AMS required.
Possess strong initiative and be results-oriented.
Requires excellent written and oral communication and project management skills.
Attention to detail and strong follow up.
