What you’ll be doing...
As a B2B industry leader, Verizon is at the center of developing new technologies for its business customers. It is an exciting time to be at Verizon—and our team is currently looking for an experienced Marketing Manager on the B2B CMO marketing team to manage creative projects, work with Integrated Marketing, and ensure excellence in executing marketing campaigns for our teams.
Manage a full range of projects for B2B content marketing, especially for sales enablement and social media channels.
Develop overarching Social strategy, including communicating strategic initiatives, tactics, and collaborating with agency partners to execute social post creative.
Find opportunities to elevate social creative, especially through social-first post production and content capture.
Leverage data and analysis to provide recommendations for creative and content optimizations on social handles and provide progress updates to larger team on the performance of social handles.
Review marketing briefs and project plans—and determining which creative teams will be assigned the work to execute
Work with other Marketing Managers across channels to track and manage project timelines, deliverables, and fulfillment.
Manage and communicate feedback to our internal creative resources and our advertising Agencies.
Ensuring all work is on brief and follows required legal reviews, product reviews, and approvals.
Identify and troubleshoot project challenges and come with possible solutions.
Provide creative presentation with PowerPoint support for stakeholders and leadership.
Manage and organize work—maintain timelines and alignment with Integrated marketing.
Stay up-to-date on the latest tech trends and our competition.
Identify areas of improvement in process and project management.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience in marketing or advertising.
Experience managing large-scale projects within an Advertising Agency or corporate marketing department.
Experience in small business marketing and/or sales.
Willingness to travel.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Experience in a fast-paced, matrixed environment—with multiple stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to manage responsibilities independently and work with minimal supervision.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Social media experience.
Retail merchandising experience for business.
