Channel Diversification & Account Management - Modern Retail
Establish the business's presence in online (e-Pharmacies, e-Commerce) and offline (chain pharmacies) modern retail channels by developing the product mix, packaging requirements, margin profile and pricing for the above-mentioned channels
Drive closure of commercial agreements with modern retail partners and execution of internal processes to onboard the business
Setup and drive internal processes to forecast demand, ensure supply availability, service, and payment realization etc. in collaboration with internal teams
Leverage digital tools and services to measure the business' performance across major KPIs in the specific channels and follow a continuous improvement approach to drive improvement across key metrics through necessary adjustments to the marketing spend & strategy
Direct commercial responsibility over revenue and profitability of the modern trade channel. Responsible for achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets, profit, and cost of doing business as well as maintaining and managing relationships with modern retail channel partners
Ownership of developing long term strategy and executing commercial initiatives necessary to scale the modern retail channel in line with the business's requirement
Channel Diversification & Marketing Excellence - Traditional Retail
Establish the business's presence in traditional retail space by working closely with the sales field force to drive demand generation at the retailer level
Identify prevalent best practices and develop the strategies in terms of product mix, pricing, and marketing content etc. to drive demand generation at the retailer level
Leverage digital tools and services to measure the business' performance across major KPIs in the specific channel and follow a continuous improvement approach to drive improvement across key metrics through necessary adjustments to the marketing spend & strategy in collaboration with the sales field force.
Ownership of developing long term strategy and executing commercial initiatives necessary to scale demand generation in the traditional retail channel in line with the business's requirement
Digital Initiatives - All Channels
Ownership of digital tools and services used by the business across different channels
Identify/develop and implement the current best approaches in the usage of digital tools and services across domains such as sales forecasting, customer targeting via promotions/rewards/advertisements and business performance tracking etc.
Ownership of developing long term strategy and executing commercial initiatives necessary to scale digital competencies in line with the business's requirement Role Brief Minimum Education
MBA/ Post-Graduate from a reputed institute. Minimum Experience/Training Required 4-6 Years of experience 1) 4+ years of sales and channel management experience 2) Data-driven approach to interpret, analyze, and present information in a readily usable manner. 3) Strong project management and execution capability to plan and ensure timely execution of deliverables. 4) Experience in developing channel marketing content and communications to drive business objectives. 5) Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills. Think flexibly to see issues from different perspectives and take informed decisions 6) Be customer focused to add value 7) Problem solver with hands-on, 'roll up your sleeves' can-do attitude 8) Open to travel across India as per role requirements. Work Experience Prior experience/ exposure to Customer/ Channel marketing in pharma /OTx /FMCG is desired. Prior exposure to marketing will be an advantage
