The Geyser Group is seeking an Investor Relations Assistant to support the day-to-day of our Director of Operations. The successful candidate will be a positive, upbeat, and reliable team player, ready to dive in and help wherever needed. This position will support various functions across the organization including business development, marketing, and investor relations. This role reports to the Director of Operations.
Marketing/Bus Dev: 40%
Implementing Marketing Initiatives: planning lunch and learns, TGG newsletter draft write ups, theme planning with Marketing head, testing marketing ads, content creation, seo creation with blogger/freelancer.
Assist in creation of marketing materials to support IR and Business Development.
Build out our social media handles and ad campaigns.
Assist with outreach for press, net new investors and investor groups.
Assisting in landing podcast spots for our CEO.
Investor Relations: 40%
Support the company's capital raising efforts, by responding to investor due diligence questions, compliance needs, and other ad-hoc requests.
Manage and organize TGG Investor CRM/Juniper square platform.
Coordinate with the Development team on deal research, deal updates and ad hoc needs for investor communications and pitch decks.
File pitch decks, marketing materials, due diligence questionnaires, documents in our company drive to keep the team organized.
Keep the company calendar of all mandatory reporting dates to ensure timely K1 preparation and compliance documents using our Juniper Square platform.
Engage with investors via inbound and outbound calls, help onboard new potential investors to our Juniper Square platform where needed.
Data entry for net new investors and development partners via airtable and Juniper Square.
Collecting form fills and additional information from Development Managers to assist in creating quarterly updates.
Research and plan outreach for potential investors and investor groups.
Help ops team with reporting initiatives.
Ad hoc list building and data scraping.
Assist with executing on Referral and Appreciation programs - gifting ideas, swag buying, appreciation events.
Self-starter; proactive independent worker, who is not hesitant to ask for direction when required.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Strong organizational, planning and decision-making skills; Able to perform under deadline pressure and handle multiple priorities and changes with professional demeanor.
Ability to work with varying personalities and all levels of leadership.
Strong work ethic and a genuine passion for excellence.
Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
BS, BA or BBA in Marketing, Business or Communications degree required.
1 to 3 years of related experience, ideally with Investor Relations or Real Estate Marketing.
Passion for, knowledge of and experience in business, marketing, investments or client service; commercial real estate industry experience a plus.
Highly proficient in Juniper Square or other CRM systems and Google Office Suite.
Proficient in Canva or Adobe products.
