All Product Management interns will work on a strategic project that will have asignificant impact on the direction of the business. As an MBA intern, you willwork with the marketing team to appropriately frame and scope your strategicinitiative. Product Management Intern - Regional Marketing
Field Marketing interns will work with the Stryker Field Marketing team to focuson product line alignment with strategic needs of business, utilizing classicalmarketing principles in real world business settings. They may also:
Analyze market share and procedure volumes information with an eye towardstrends and shifts in the market
Understand different franchises within North America and how the sales forceimpacts delivery of marketing messages and the success of a product launch
Learn how competition and competitive responses impact the market and theimportance of this dynamic for organizational success
Understand the importance of downstream marketing programs and life cyclemanagement in the success of market product portfolios
Develop marketing collateral/sales tools that will advance key productmessaging and launch to field sales

Product Management Intern - Global Marketing
Global Marketing interns will be responsible for supporting a project or productline. The emphasis is on learning the business, gaining confidence, proving sounddecision making skills and the ability to demonstrate leadership in a teamenvironment. Interns will:
Understand and assist with strategic planning, GMA forecasting, and supplychain and operational management
Understand how new franchise markets are identified and assist in definingthese opportunities
Understand key franchise technologies and assist new product design anddevelopment within the TDP/PDP matrix
Understand the market for franchise products and assist in the market scienceprocess, usage patterns and competitive activities, formulation of customersegmentation and product positioning models, messaging, and channelmanagement. Understand key opinion leader relationships
Understand Stryker's global downstream marketing and sales network andsupport franchise downstream marketing efforts
Understand traditional franchise markets, strategy and messaging, andcontribute to addressing competitive challenges

Project Management- PMO
PMO interns support active product development projects. They also play a role inimproving analysis of these projects from timelines to budgets to resource reporting. Interns in the past have provided incredible contribution to our never-ending questof providing the best and easiest-to-read data for our division's executives.
What You Need
Undergraduate degree required (engineering, biological sciences, or businessdegree preferred) + candidate for Masters in Business Administration
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require employment-basedsponsorship now or in the future.
1-5 years of successful related business experience
Must be permanent resident of the U.S. or U.S. citizen
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Demonstrated success working in a matrixed team environment
