WHAT YOU'LL DO
The successful candidate acts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME)/application expert for multiple marketing systems within the Global Strategic Insights team.
The position is responsible for application and business requirements analysis and management including data acquisition, system training, system documentation, defect tracking, system access, user acceptance testing, and communication to end-users in support of marketing programs and systems.
They are also responsible to maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners such as brands, Information Technology (IT), and external vendors to acquire timely and accurate information that will be used in marketing programs as well as on consumer, eCommerce, and healthcare professional web sites. They proactively work with key users and stakeholders to identify business requirements or process improvements to meet changing business needs.
Ability to understand, define and communicate business requirements and rules in a concise, organized format. Ability to understand the impact of changes on the overall process. Ability to translate user feedback into effective systems modifications that continue to meet the needs of the business. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities. Ability to objectively evaluate program results and recommend future improvements. Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance related requirements and processes.
Main responsibilities include:
Perform quantitative analysis and data modeling to glean insights and highlight opportunities
Design and develop innovative analytical approaches and predictive modelling techniques for data analysis, statistical modeling, data mining
Responsible for developing data visualizations composed of various calculations, data sources, and business requirements using Power BI
Examine relevant data and quickly develop an analytics plan that will answer key business questions and create value for clients
Overall expertise in Marketing Systems/tools
Expertise in Collaboration and Project Management tools and reporting
Expertise using Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI)
Experience in developing training materials and system documentation.
Ability to effectively work with IT developers, external vendors and multiple business areas across the division and Abbott as a whole.
Ability to quickly learn new software/systems in order to act as a trainer and Subject Matter Expert for the Marketing and Commercial Services organization.
Ability to communicate effectively and to solicit feedback
Excellent organizational, planning and project management skills are required to be successful in this position

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU'LL BRING
BS / BA in Marketing, Management, Technology, or Business required and/or equivalent experience.
2 years experience with Marketing-related systems and processes
Bachelors Degree (± 16 years) in Marketing and/or Information Technology
