We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Marketing Manager, Brand Strategy and Programmes.
Support the Senior Marketing Manager, Brand Strategy & Programmes to develop and implement various brand programmes in the region in line with the Brand strategy. This may include always-on content, XLOB collaboration, Customer Sustainability promotion etc
Working closely with business and marketing partners, assist on forming brand strategy by contributing to competitive analysis, brand audits, brand articulation, design concept, visual identity and guidelines development etc
Providing insights and proactive recommendations on market research, industry analysis and trend forecasts
Work with local markets to drive local in country brand programmes ensuring fit with Group Brand positioning and purpose
Support XLOB collaboration on different brand activities to drive a consistent brand message across HSBC
Support in producing and amplifying brand content for paid and owned channels in collaboration with Group Brand and Communications team
Work with other teams to unearth relevant and topical insights to inform content development and strategy
Work with agency partners to create compelling, brand and business stories
Be a customer champion and adopt agile ways of working
KPIs will include, and not restricted to
Execution of ASP Brand Programmes
Market/wallet share for the strategic product or solution area
Modern Marketing professional with understanding of latest developments in the marketing and media world
Have depth of both classical and contemporary channels
Have a penchant for learning
Understand the use of data and analytics in deriving customer value
Be passionate about the customer and be obsessed with customer outcomes
Degree level qualification in marketing and/or business studies preferred
Minimum 5 years of marketing experience with relevant exposure to branding, social media and content development (either in house or agency side)
Can demonstrate an ability to develop high quality, award winning marketing communications and an inherent understanding of brand and its impact across all channels and audiences
Understanding the branding business, which includes marketing effectiveness, brand tracking, equity and brand programme performance and optimization
Good understanding of technology developments and emerging consumer and industry trends
Can demonstrate the ability to be a self-starter with energy and drive in a challenging and dynamic environment
Ability to think innovatively, shaping and communicating new concepts
Experience of working with teams over multiple sites and geographies
Ability to distil complex business and customer environment into simple, strategically sound and insight led stories
