The University of Utah Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is seeking candidates for the position of Assistant Athletics Director for Marketing and Fan Experience. The successful candidate will strategically design, manage, coordinate, and execute all marketing, promotional, fan experience, game atmosphere, game presentation, and fan engagement efforts for Utah Athletics. The position will lead the Marketing and Fan Experience unit and will report to the Associate Athletics Director for Facilities, Operations, Capital Projects, Marketing, and Fan Experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related area, or equivalency; eight years of progressively more responsible management experience; and demonstrated leadership, human relations and effective communications skills required.
Master’s degree in Business Administration, or related area preferred.
Department Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5 years directly related experience or equivalency required. Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment, analyze and make decisions related to unit. Strong coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines. Demonstrate effective communication, superior customer service skills, and work well in a positive team environment.
Must have working knowledge and experience with graphic design creation. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.
