The Marketing Analysis Consultant for Baylor Scott and White Health (BSWH) performs analytical and strategic planning support duties related to health care and other business conducted by and for (BSWH) Market Analysis and consults by the BSWH Market Research and Analysis Department. This position may consult with BSWH business unit leaders throughout BSWH regarding and market experts, online (internet) and internel BSWH resources to gather sourced data to identify market opportunities and threats. The position is also responsible for accurate and complete statistics in the Market Guide.

In addition, the Marketing Analysis Consultant for BSWH has the following responsibilities:

·        Tracking of competitor expansion and construction information

·        Oversight of MedStat/Solucient accuracy in BSWH reporting

·        Designs, implements, and manages and may present market research and other Market Research projects as assigned by the Market Research AVP the Director of Market Research

·        Conduct market analysis for each business unit; assist unit leaders develop strategic plans for maximizing business within their defined markets; assist in measuring and monitoring effectiveness of plans

·        Produce a study on products and service opportunities for BSWH for both near and far future; lead discussions among Marketing and Public Relations (M&PR) Leadership on advantages and disadvantages of each idea

·        Consult with Hospital Presidents and Marketing Representatives on meaning and utility of Brand Equity Index and suitable tactics for improving Hospital index scores

·        Design, implement, and manage M&PR role in leading BSWH activities in achieving Objective 5, deliver superb customer service; this component includes leadership in measuring and reporting patient satisfaction

·        Produce report on suggested tactics that BSWH Hospitals could use in improving scores in the Index of Hospital Quality, the methodology used by US News and World Report in ranking Hospitals throughout the USA.

EDUCATION

Bachelors or Equivalent Exp

EXPERIENCE

A minimum of 5 years experience required

Data analysis experience working with Excel
