The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University's School of Medicine is seeking a 100%FTE Marketing and Administrative Coordinator to provide administrative support and marketing coordination for YogaX at Stanford Psychiatry.
YogaX is a yoga training and education program dedicated to bringing yoga into healthcare. Our work is grounded in modern neuroscience and psychology research, as well as in the ancient philosophy and psychology of yoga. We are dedicated to inviting as many people as possible into the practice - especially those who have not typically been drawn to it because of perceived and real barriers to access. We teach integrated, holistic yoga that models accesibility and honors diversity and individuality.
Stanford University is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to be under direct supervision, assist with the execution of marketing programs that enable programs, services, events and/or products to meet business objectives of YogaX at Stanford Psychiatry.
A successful candidate will be able to interact effectively with a wide range of diverse individuals at many levels, possess excellent organizational skills, ability to work with complex calendar schedules and possess a self-starter attitude. Must be comfortable working with subject matter on a range of yoga and psychology.
Provide administrative support to marketing team.
Assist with marketing plans/programs to meet business objectives, including coordinating with internal stakeholders.
Draft, edit, and schedule select marketing communications for a variety of channels (i.e., web, print, email, online).
Monitor, track and report marketing program effectiveness.
Review and report post-event/program/campaign data.
Assist in quality control of data and marketing materials.
Support the planning and execution of events.
Support the creation and launch of tools and processes to improve marketing efforts.
Contribute to vendor selection, arrangements, and scheduling.
Coordinate vendor estimates and invoice processing.
Develop an understanding of organization's major programs, services, events and products.

Bachelor's degree and 1 years of administrative and 1-2 years of marketing experience
Able to interact effectively with a wide range of diverse individuals at many levels

Must be comfortable working with subject matter on a range yoga and psychology topics to create copy content and marketing materials
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and relevant experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Highly organized and creative.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently to meet expected deadlines and schedules.

CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES:
200hr Yoga Teaching Certificate Preferred
Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
Frequently stand/walk, sit, use a telephone, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, speaking.
Occasionally grasp forcefully, writing by hand.
Rarely sort/file paperwork.
